5 Tips to Organize Your Closets This Weekend

Can you believe it is the 4th of July weekend? Time is flying! If you are like me, a long weekend many times means project time.

Carries Barnes of local business, Dynamic Interior Designs, is on the blog giving us some tips on closet organization that will hopefully help if you are tackling one of those monsters this weekend.

5 Tips to Help You Organize Your Closets This Weekend

There are a number of affordable storage and organizational ideas that can be utilized to save a great deal of space and to make any area, of any size, feel more tidy and comfortable!

1. Baskets. Baskets. Baskets!

They are a very affordable way to tuck away items that may take up space in your cabinets, drawers or closets. They come in all different materials, shapes and sizes – plus they can be visually appealing!

2. Shower Curtain Rings!

What an easy way to hang almost anything in your closet – from necklaces, to purses, to scarves. The sky is the limit!

3. Plastic storage bins!

They are inexpensive, easily stackable for space saving greatness and you can see through them. Organize shoes, paper products, jewelry, etc!

4. Cardboard shoe boxes!

You already purchased the shoes – use the box!  It is a very economical way to recycle.

5. Mason Jars!

A super easy and visually appealing way to store all sorts of things from food to small toys/crafts to toiletries. I highly suggest PLASTIC ones for the use of anything a child may handle.
