Stafford County Public Schools holds their Annual Fine Arts Festival each spring at a local high school. Student’s art from around the county is displayed for the public to view and each year it is impressive.
The students put their heart into their work – and it shows. Teachers work tirelessly to create beautiful displays that truly highlight the art.
As I was walking around I wondered – would one of these young artists be showing their work a gallery in New York City in the years to come, will they use their talent to create impressive ad campaigns for Fortune 500 Companies or will they give back to their local community by offering classes and selling their pieces in local shops – only time will tell.
One thing is certain – mark your calendar and head to any of the Fine Arts Festivals that our local schools host. You will certainly be amazed!
